Farmers Market in Marina del Rey

Saturday February 5th

This weekly outdoor event allows Westside residents to support local produce sellers and other vendors. Groceries from a variety of companies can be purchased. Masks are compulsory and only 40 people are allowed to shop at the same time. In parking lot 11.

Restoration at the LAX Dunes event

Astrology of 2022 event

IntoMeSea, a state-of-the-art Quantum wellness studio, will welcome veteran astrologer and author Gahl Sasson for Astrology of 2022 – A Sacrifice for Love Workshop + Book Signing. Lunar New Year at Santa Monica Place

Santa Monica Place will commemorate the Year of the Tiger with a variety of offerings to honor the Lunar New Year. Guests will enjoy red and gold lanterns draped over Center Plaza, red envelopes featuring special offers from participating stores and restaurants, craft kits and fortune cookies to take home. Well-wishers have the opportunity to participate in a New Year’s tradition by hanging their wish on the cherry blossom wishing trees for prosperity and renewal for the New Year. On February 4th, the Gourmandise School is also offering a Date Night: Lunar New Year Celebration class, where participants will learn how to prepare special cocktails and dishes, and on February 10th, a 90-minute virtual Lunar New Year celebration with chef Katie Chin will take place.

Virtual Wine Tasting with DAOU Vineyards

Gelson’s offers customers an impeccable virtual wine tasting with owner and winemaker Daniel Daou of DAOU Vineyards. Paso Robles Winery’s selected wines include Daou Discovery Rose and Daou Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are paired with a custom Gelson cheese and charcuterie platter, which serves two and is available for $24.99. The Zoom link will be made available to all customers the day before the event. The special prices for the wines and the collection of the cheese and sausage platters will take place on February 9th and 10th. The last day to register for the virtual tasting is February 6th. Off the Pitch Charity Fashion Show by the Players’ Wives Association

Santa Monica Place will proudly host the Players’ Wives Association’s 21st Annual Charity Fashion Show. This prestigious event was created to support the charities of the Super Bowl host city and to pay tribute to NFL wives who have made remarkable strides in improving the lives of women and children. This year’s event benefits the HollyRod Foundation, a 501©(3) foundation founded by actress Holly Robinson Peete and her husband, former NFL player Rodney Peete. In honor of the foundation’s mission, this year’s event is themed “Fashion on a Spectrum”. Models will strut the runway presenting a wide range of looks from athleisure to evening wear. Sherice Brown, one of the founders of Off the Field and the inspiration behind the Super Bowl Fashion Show, will serve as fashion show chair this year. Peete and Cookie Johnson will serve as honorary co-chairs this year. Emmy Award-winning Entertainment Tonight co-host Nischelle Turner will host this year’s charity runway show.
