Basketball professional Ivica Zubac lives on and off the pitch. Not only does he play a three-year $ 21 million deal with the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers, but the 2.70-meter Croatian center and his long-time girlfriend Kristina Prišč also work in the real estate department. Real estate records show that Zubac recently spent $ 4.8 million on a posh new mansion in the popular Encino suburb of the San Fernando Valley. At the same time, he also sold his other home – a box-shaped hideaway in Mar Vista – in an off-market deal for $ 3.5 million, about $ 400,000 more than he paid for the home about two years ago.
Zubac’s newly acquired Encino residence is mostly tucked away from the street, hidden behind gates, and protected by surveillance cameras on over half an acre corner lot with towering palm trees. Built in 1990, but recently dismantled down to the tunnels and completely rebuilt in the ubiquitous modern farmhouse aesthetic, the mostly white building has a particularly wide concrete and grassy driveway and an attached three-car garage with decorative wooden doors.
Inside, five bedrooms and six bathrooms are spread over more than 5,400 square meters of neutral and light-flooded interiors, which are interrupted by high ceilings, skylights, recessed lighting and Steelcase windows as well as whitewashed oak floors. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls in almost every room open up for an indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

A massive wooden entrance door swings into a double-height entrance foyer, which is crowned by a boho-style lamp and displays a glass wine cabinet. From there, a formal living room has a fireplace, while a chandelier dining room has paneled walls and French doors to the outside.
