She’s The Man and Easy A actress Amanda Bynes has apologised, after accusing her fiancé Paul Michael of using drugs in a video posted on her Instagram Stories, E! News reports.
In a statement released to the publication, Paul denied he had relapsed on drugs and said he was “not using now”. Amanda followed up with a “correction” video on her Instagram Stories and affirmed Paul came “clean” on a home drug test.
Speaking to the same outlet, the Hairspray actress said: “I thought Paul relapsed, but I was wrong.
“He drug tested for me from a drug test kit I bought from CVS. The drug test was negative for all substances. Paul and I are staying together. I am so sorry for the confusion I caused.”

“Paul is currently in school, and his family lives in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles,” a previous report by The Blast stated.
Paul and Amanda reportedly crossed paths while attending a meeting for Alcoholics Anonymous, where they hit it off immediately.
The pair got engaged a few months after they met. “Engaged to the love of my life,” the What A Girl Wants actress captioned a post on Instagram, which has since been removed.
The Sun reported the couple called off their engagement a few weeks after announcing it but the couple denied splitting, stating their social media accounts had been hacked.

Amanda and Paul made their relationship official in February 2020 when the actress introduced her partner on Instagram.
“Hey everyone, this is Paul, my fiancé,” she captioned her post. “I’m so lucky. As you can see, he’s drop-dead gorgeous. He’s also the best person on the face of the earth.”
On April 13th this year, Amanda and Paul released a collaboration single, Diamonds, which is available on major streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
The pair followed up with another single, Fairfax, which was “produced by Yung Yogi, and mixed and mastered by Andres Farias”, Amanda wrote in an Instagram post.

Paul used to be on Instagram. However, the profile seems to have been removed as a message we saw at the time of writing states: “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”
