What exactly is an “influencer,” anyway? Trusty Merriam-Webster, with their finger ever on the modern American pulse, helpfully defines the term as “a person who is able to generate interest in something (such as a consumer product) by posting about it on social media.”
By that measure, Charleen “Charly” Jordan is certainly a very successful influencer, although the consumer product for which she’s perhaps been most successful at generating interest is herself. Born and raised in obscurity in the Las Vegas suburbs, the former high school track star is now a household name — at least among her Gen-Z peers, that is.
Today, the often bikini-clad model has nearly 14 million followers on TikTok and Instagram combined, more than 500,000 YouTube subscribers, and has worked with big-name brands (Forever 21, Revolve and more.) She also has an OnlyFans account with paid content for fans with plenty of spending money. And like many of her fellow influencers, exactly how or when Jordan first achieved fame remains somewhat murky, but the 23-year-old is widely known for her first while romantic relationship with TikTok superstar Tayler Holder (2020-2021).
All that influencing can reap big financial rewards. Records reveal Jordan has just bought a $3 million home in the Studio City hills that’s loaded with luxe amenities and sheathed in a trendy contemporary style. Originally built in 1941 but recently remodeled and vastly expanded, the place packs three bedrooms and three baths into nearly 2,600 square feet.
Set behind camera-watched gates on a quiet cul-de-sac, the house sports an open floorplan with wide-plank hardwood floors throughout. The living/dining/kitchen areas are married into one giant space, with the kitchen section going for an industrial-chic, quasi-brutalist vibe with concrete countertops, several shades of gray paint and chef-grade stainless appliances.
Walls of glass spill out to a multi-level deck with ample space for lounging, entertaining and influencing. There’s a hot tub on the upper part of the deck, and another section connects to a faux-grass lawn atop the two-car garage. The steeply sloped property does not have a pool, a bit disappointing considering this is a $3 million house in the always-hot San Fernando Valley, but the impressive city lights views probably make up for that deficiency.
Back inside, multiple skylights allow natural light to filter into the structure. The two guest bedrooms are located on the main level, while the primary suite spans nearly the entire penthouse level and includes a spa-style bathroom, bespoke closet and a private balcony. Also on the premises, accessed via an outdoor staircase, is a rooftop deck with more panoramic views. Naturally, the high-tech smart home is fully equipped with a security system, home automation and an integrated sound system.
