SFV Donation Drive Underway For Hope Of The Valley Rescue Mission

SAN FERNANDO, CA — The Southern California Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors of California is coordinating a San Fernando Valley donation drive for food and toiletry supplies for the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission in North Hills.

Hosted by ABC SoCal’s Student Advisory Committee, the effort runs though Aug. 19. Donations can be dropped off 9 am to 5 pm Mondays through Fridays at the ABC offices at 12979 Arroyo Ave. in San Fernando.

Items requested are non-perishable foods, cans that do not require a can opener, travel-size hygiene products, bottled water and sports drinks.

The goods collected will go to the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, a local nonprofit that provides support, meals, health services and emergency/transitional housing to area people in need.
