Opening of the new COVID-19 testing site in Clover Park, Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CA – A new COVID-19 test site opens on Monday in Clover Park in Santa Monica, city officials said on Friday.

The Los Angeles County Department of Health Services – in coordination with the State of California and the private laboratory OptumServe – will be looking for a location for coronavirus testing only in the offices of Clover Park, 2600 Ocean Park Blvd., Santa Monica on Monday Open an appointment.

Testing is free and available to Los Angeles County residents. Immigration status, insurance status, age, or underlying health issues do not affect eligibility to test.

Time slots are only available by appointment from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Both English and Spanish language support are available on site. Visit covid19.lacounty.gov/testing to make an appointment. LA County residents without digital access can call 2-1-1, where operators can assist with appointments.

People must wear masks at all times, regardless of their vaccination status. Full COVID-19 health and safety measures will be taken at the test site and in the surrounding area to separate the test site and park activities.

Test results can take up to a day or two to complete. People with positive test results will be notified by phone call. Negative test results can be accessed by logging into a secure website.
