New Target Store in Encino houses Menorah Lighting

Over 500 shoppers at the new Target mall in Encino, California enjoyed a Menorah lighting and Hanukkah party organized by Chabad of the Valley. Whole story

Shoppers at the new Target Shopping Center in Encino, California’s San Fernando Valley, were surprised to find a giant menorah at the entrance to the store.

Shluchim in Chabad of the Valley, California reached out to the store’s corporate offices for permission to hold a public menorah lighting in the new store.

Permission was obtained within 48 hours and a grand Hanukkah celebration was planned.

Over 500 people attended, attended a Menorah lighting ceremony, and enjoyed Hanukkah treats.
