Mixed-use development with possible bank on Wilshire Boulevard

Wilshire and Harvard development with 9 studio apartments

From Dolores Quintana

At the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Harvard Street in Santa Monica, two commercial buildings are being converted into a small, new mixed-use building.

As Urbanized Los Angeles reports, the development under construction is being designed by DFH Architects and the property is owned by The Megdal Companies, which have applied for approval which was approved by the City of Santa Monica in 2019.

The complex will be a two-story building that will house 9 studio apartments, one of which will be a low-income unit, with 2,495 square meters of retail space on the ground floor and a partially underground car park with 18 parking spaces.

According to Urbanize Los Angeles, the exterior of the building will be a charred cedar wall with stucco and have an outdoor deck overlooking the street.

Development renderings show an HSBC bench occupying the corner room on the first floor.
