LOS ANGELES, CA – A 45-year-old man was killed Sunday when he was hit by a vehicle on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the mid-city area of Los Angeles.
According to California Highway Patrol officer Patrick Kimball, the accident occurred at 3:24 a.m. on the freeway heading west on La Brea Avenue.

The driver in the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman, called the CHP to report that she hit someone, Kimball said. She wasn’t hurt. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP central office in Los Angeles asked anyone with information about the death to call them at 213-744-2331.
