Injured Mountain Biker Rescued By LA Fire Crews In San Fernando Valley

SHADOW HILLS, CA — A 38-year-old mountain biker injured from a fall Saturday in Shadow Hills was rescued by helicopter and paramedic crews from the Los Angeles City Fire Department, according to authorities.

The bike accident was reported at 10 am on the 8300 block of La Tuna Canyon Road.

A paramedic first was lowered to evaluate the man, who then was hoisted up by the helicopter and taken to a hospital, the agency said.
