Jillian Barberie, the television personality who hosted the morning news and entertainment show Good Day LA from 1995 to 2012, has just listed her 22-year-old Tarzana home for $ 2.5 million.
She bought the property four years after her tenure in Good Day LA in 1999 for $ 685,000, but the house looks best thanks to a remodel by Jeff Lewis, the prolific designer best known for his Bravo show, Flipping Out “Is known, no longer looks like it did back then.
The hillside private land featured on “MTV Cribs” is roughly half an acre and includes a 3,000 square foot ranch-style home, 1,100 square foot guest house, and a scenic stone deck with a saltwater pool and spa.

Lewis decorated the interiors with skylights, twin chandeliers, and floors made of polished concrete and ebony-stained wood. Built-in walls line the living room and the kitchen adds a waterfall island.
Dramatic beams tower over the guest house, which is essentially a massive open concept space with a bedroom and a rock wall lit by a sign that reads “Love”. Outside, the deck offers breathtaking views of the San Fernando Valley.
Born in Canada, Barberie hosted KTTV’s “Good Day LA” for 18 years and also hosted a national version of the show called “Good Day Live”. The 55-year-old also worked as an on-air reporter for Fox NFL Sunday and several Super Bowls.
Scott Nell of Keller Williams Realty Encino-Sherman Oaks holds the listing.
