The Federal Trade Commission filed a privacy lawsuit against ITMedia Solutions and other defendants in the Central District Court in California on Wednesday. The FTC accuses the defendants of forcing loan applicants to submit their personal information online and then selling the information to various companies regardless of their legitimacy as verified lenders. No lawyers have yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2: 22-cv-00073, Federal Trade Commission v Dev.XYZ LLC et al.
