Devonshire PALS gives away toys to Northridge children

NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH, CA – As part of their annual toy drive, the Los Angeles Police Department’s PALS program teamed up with Councilor John Lee to give out toys to local children on Tuesday.

“A lot of these kids could be the only gift they get all year round,” Lee said on a video on LA CityView 35.

The collected toys will go to the youth of the San Fernando Valley.

Devonshire PALS is a year-round youth welfare program based in Northridge. The program is designed to foster trust and understanding between the LAPD, local youth and the community, says the program’s website.
