Additional polling centers for local elections will open on November 2nd

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Additional polling centers have opened for Tuesday’s local and municipal elections in Los Angeles County, officials said on Saturday.

The centers are open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for voting in person or for casting a completed vote by postal vote. All voting centers will follow current public health and safety guidelines related to COVID-19, said Dean Logan, the Los Angeles County’s Registrar-Recorder / County Clerk.

Completed ballot papers can also be placed in one of the many post boxes across the country. You can find their locations on the LA County Registrar-Recorder / County Clerk website.

The following actions appear on the ballot:

  • A property sales tax used to fund public safety and basic services in Inglewood
  • An increase in temporary occupancy tax paid only by Inglewood hotel / motel guests
  • A special package tax on industrial property for the commercial city
  • A constitutional amendment to remove all references to the Alhambra Unified School District from the Alhambra City Charter

It will also fill offices for the Community Service District, Kinneloa and Littlerock Creek Irrigation Districts, and Miraleste and Ridgecrest Ranchos Recreation and Park Districts.
