2 Ventura County Deputies Hospitalized After Exposure To Unknown Substance In Reseda – CBS Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Two Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives were hospitalized after being exposed to an unknown substance while conducting an investigation in the San Fernando Valley community of Reseda Tuesday morning.

The exposure occurred sometime before 8 am in the area of Sherman Way and Calvin Avenue while the two Ventura detectives were serving a search warrant, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to CBSLA.
Both detectives were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not confirmed.
The circumstances leading up to the exposure were unclear. It’s unclear if any arrests were made.
The LA County Sheriff’s Department and LA Police Department is on scene investigating.
