YouTuber Jenna Marbles has home broken into by alleged stalker

Former YouTube star Jenna Marbles, whose real name is Jenna Mourey, has shared about having her home broken into by an alleged stalker.

Just two days into the new year, Jenna’s husband Julien Solomita, who she has been with for ten years and also shares a home with, released a statement on social media to share their experience.

“Today someone broke into our house,” Julien told his 1.8 million IG followers. “A woman, that we don’t know, entered our home unannounced. Upon her entering our back door, I immediately subdued her with OC/pepper spray and was able to lock her out. I called the police and she was apprehended and arrested.”

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources claim that police were called on Monday to the couples San Fernando Valley home after a fan showed up.

Julien then claimed in his statement that this person has been stalking the couple for months: “Jenna, the dogs and myself are all safe. While this person is a complete stranger to me, they have been harassing me at my home throughout the last two months.

“This was something that for safety reasons I was doing my best to keep offline but we were notified that a media outlet had information on today’s event and are planning on running a story so I wanted you to hear what happened from me first.”

Jenna has remained quiet since quitting YouTube in 2020. The former star who has almost 20 million followers, made the decision to come off YouTube after several of her old videos came to light and were criticized as being racist – one of which saw Jenna wearing blackface and another included a rap that made jokes about Asian people.

Jenna addressed the backlash at the time by apologising: “I just want to make sure the things I’m putting in the world aren’t hurting anyone… so I need to be done with this channel, for now or for forever.”

Jenna is yet to make a public statement about the recent incident. We’re glad to hear the family are safe.
