A woman was killed in Los Angeles’ Hancock Park on Thursday afternoon and police found her body in a shop on La Brea Avenue.

Los Angeles police units were called to the 300 block of North La Brea, near Beverly Boulevard, just before 2 p.m. for reports of an attack and the woman was found dead in a shop, the department officer said , Mike Lopez.
Homicide investigators were called to the scene and were working to find out how the woman was killed and what led to her death, though Lopez said preliminary reports suggested the victim was apparently not shot.
A suspicious description was not immediately available.
