Warning about the use of ocean water on Santa Monica beaches
SANTA MONICA, CA – A seawater use warning was issued on several Los Angeles beaches, including two locations in Santa Monica, on Friday night.
“The warning was issued because of bacterial levels that exceeded health standards in the last test,” said public health officials.

- Pico-Kenter Gully on Santa Monica Beach (Santa Monica South Tower 20)
- Herondo Street Storm Drain in Hermosa Beach (near Hermosa Tower TK)
- Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro
- Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica
- Mother Beach in Marina Del Rey
To find out about beach conditions, call the county beach closure hotline: 1-800-525-5662 or visit the website: PublicHealth.LACounty.gov/Beach/.
