USC begins Spring Semester with virtual classes – CBS Los Angeles

Los Angeles (CBSLA) – Due to the advent of Omicron and the recent surge in cases, USC will begin the spring semester with virtual classes.

During the first week from January 10th to January 17th, classes will take place online. Face-to-face classes will resume on Tuesday, January 18th.

Students are also required to present a negative COVID test before moving into a university apartment, which opens on Thursday, January 6, and resuming in-person classes.

Although no deadline has been set, all eligible faculty, staff and students must receive a booster vaccination as soon as possible.

The university has also postponed its new call for students, scheduled for January 7, for about two weeks in the spring.
