Two multi-family homes totaling 140 units in Northridge sold for $52.5 million, or about $375,000 per unit.

Under the Real Deal, NMS Properties, which has owned the buildings since 1999, sold adjacent buildings at 9710 Zelzah Ave. and 17819 Superior St. to the Bascom Group. The apartment complexes known as NMS Superior and NMS Northridge feature two and three bedroom units, each with a two car garage.

Bascom, which intends to renovate the units and add amenities to the properties, purchased them with an acquisition loan from Brightspire Capital. The financial terms of the loan were not disclosed.

Earlier this week, NMS announced it had sold an 80-unit apartment building in Canoga Park to Domino Realty for more than $30 million.
