Two in Custody After Pursuit Through San Gabriel Valley – NBC Los Angeles

Two people are in custody after leading the California Highway Patrol on a pursuit in the San Gabriel Valley Saturday night.

The pursuit was believed to have started over an alleged armed robbery, according to the CHP Inland division.

The two occupants were driving on the 605 Freeway in the San Gabriel Valley and then got onto the eastbound 10 Freeway.

They quickly reached Chinatown, where both the driver and the passenger abandoned the vehicle, and ran across the freeway lanes, jumping over the center dividers.

Police were able to locate them and take them into custody.
