Diciembre and Tashia Farries got married on the beach in Santa Monica over the weekend. A great moment with their families and their one year old son.
Suddenly he was there – Tom Hanks walking up to him to say hello. He told them that he had watched the wedding and thought it was beautiful and asked if he could take a picture with them.
Remember, Tashia is used to stars as a private celebrity chef, but that stunned her and everyone at the wedding!
It was a special moment in many ways. As a same-sex couple, it cemented the love they already had for one another, but it gave them a break for another reason as well.

Diciembre’s brother wasn’t at the wedding, he’d died. There was a photo of him on one of the chairs. When they found out the actor had the same birthday.
“It was like news that he was there!” they declared.
So what did they do? They snapped photos with the star, chatted for a while, and created lifelong memories of a truly unforgettable wedding!
