The residents of the San Fernando Valley were awarded a “4. July Spectacular Fireworks Show with a twist due to Covid-19 warnings.

The independent and non-denominational church has been hosting a fireworks event with musical entertainment and activities for children on July 4th for many years until 2020 when church officials canceled the show due to the pandemic.

That year, still thinking about public health, they decided to try a car ride and a car stay celebration near their church compound on Rinaldi Street on Corbin Avenue on Independence Day. Music and announcements were broadcast on 87.9 FM radio.

The event was sponsored by Kathryn Barger (Los Angeles County Supervisor, 5th District), John Lee (Los Angeles City Council Member, Council District 12), Kake Kreations, Suzette Martinez Valladares (38th Assembly District), UCLA Health and the Vineyards at Porter Ranch.
