The South 5 freeway will be closed to nightly construction work on Burbank Boulevard in Burbank from 11:59 p.m. Sunday night until mid-November, city officials said.

The closings will run Sunday through Friday and end at 4 a.m. each morning, Burbank officials tweeted. Motorists will be diverted on Burbank Boulevard.
The intersection of Burbank Boulevard and Front Street will also be closed from 8:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Sunday evening through Friday.
The closures are intended to facilitate the construction of the I-5 Burbank Boulevard Bridge and the interchange.
