SANTA MONICA, CA – We’re in search of the best Christmas lights in America, and the title could go to one of the sparkling displays that make Santa Monica such a magical place this time of year.
We’re going to be showing the best and brightest of your North Pole (or Clark Griswold) inspired displays on Patch just before Christmas.
Here are the deadlines and other information you need to know in order to step up and brag about the best Christmas lights in America (we’ll be bringing a stocking full of patch booties too):
Tuesday December 14th: You can attend anytime, but this is the deadline to submit a photo by completing and following the instructions in the form below.
Wednesday December 15th: A panel of local editors from Patch will put their heads together and select our national finalists.
Thursday-Sunday, 16.-19. December: We put the finalists in front of the followers of our national patch Facebook page, who vote by liking or reacting to the photo. The decision of our readers has been made, so don’t forget to like Patch on Facebook.
Monday, December 20: The winner of the “Best Christmas Lights in America” competition will be announced on the Across America Patch and on social media.
