In 2006 Lani and I fell in love with the small but large bungalow at Ocean Park and the idea of caring for the neighborhood we loved and grew up in that brought so many great memories with it. We have named our new company The OP Cafe. It has been our privilege to serve you for the past decade and a half.
It is with a heavy heart that we share this news. We closed the operating theater permanently on Sunday. The economic impact of the pandemic over the past 18 months and the ongoing shutdowns of surrounding businesses that have supported OP and ensured economic viability forced us to make this difficult decision.
Thank you for your loyalty and friendship. A big thank you to our valued family of employees for their many years of service and the TLC that take them to the operating room every day. Look for your favorites that have found homes at our sister locations in Santa Monica, Ashland Hill on Main Street, Art’s Table and Margo’s on Montana Avenue, and Golden Bull on Channel Road. We will miss you all.
