Temporary Workforce Development Center Opens in Menifee – NBC Los Angeles

Job seekers in southwest Riverside County can find job search assistance at the recently opened Temporary Menifee Workforce Development Center in Menifee.

The center opened last week and offers career coaching, resume writing help, job search help, specialized training, skills development, special recruiting events and workshops for individuals.

It is located in the recently upgraded computer room at Kay Ceniceros Senior Center, 29995 Evans Rd., And is open by appointment only on Thursdays from 1pm to 5pm.

Officials said there are plans to extend the center’s opening hours to 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays later this fall.

The center works for free.

Funding for the program came from a community development bloc grant made available to Menifee through the CARES Act and federal funds to the Riverside County Workforce Development Department.

“The Temporary Menifee Workforce Development Center is working in synergy with the City’s Job Blueprint Plan and the Comprehensive Economic Development (CEDS) Plan to continue to position Menifee as a growth and job creation leader in the region.” City Director Armando Villa. “We have worked hard to build partnerships to harness and develop the resources our businesses and residents need to be both successful and thriving.”
