The Music Department of Santa Monica College will present the SMC Chamber Choir in “SMC’s Seasons Celebration”. Led by SMC music teacher Jeremiah Selvey and accompanied by SMC pianist Gary Gray, the choir will perform on Sunday 12th Santa Monica.
The concert will feature a variety of tunes that are sure to brighten the Christmas season, with selected works performed by invited guests including a musical combo and members of the SMC Percussion Ensemble and SMC Jazz Vocal Ensemble, with guest director Andreas Preponis two conducts pieces. The performers will also guide a selection for the audience to sing along, encouraging guests to be warmed up and ready to strengthen their own voices.
Tickets are available at the box office (cash only) and cost $ 15 for general admission (free for students with ID). Free on-site parking. In order to participate in the event, ID and proof of vaccination (or negative test within 72 hours before the event) must be presented. A mask is required at all times. The seating is strictly according to the first arrival base.
