The Santa Monica College Theater Arts Department is presenting a free video of its performance of The Tale of A Midsummer Night’s Dream from November 30th to February 13th.
A YouTube link to the new production will be available from November 30 at smc.edu/theatreperformances. The video can be viewed at any time of the day until midnight on February 13, 2022.
The Tale of A Midsummer Night’s Dream – adapted and shortened by Dr. Adrianne Harrop from the amusing play by William Shakespeare, which premiered in 1596 – is the story of four lovers who are banished by fairies. The comedy is a cunning and rough reckoning with love, jealousy and marriage. Dr. Harrop was in charge of SMC production.
