Santa Monica New Years Resolutions: What Will You Change?

SANTA MONICA, CA – The start of a new year is fast approaching, Santa Monica. We know it seems like just yesterday the residents were carving jack-o-lanterns and loading butterball turkeys into shopping carts.

Some celebrate the occasion by enjoying the new year through to the new year, and others choose to have intimate get-togethers with loved ones.

For many, the New Year is a time of celebrating together with the hope that the next year will be better than the last. This is where New Year’s resolutions come into play.

While resolutions like these often feel as useful as an umbrella in the middle of a hurricane, they’re fun, aren’t they?

In the United States, 188.9 million adults made New Year’s resolutions for 2021, according to a Finder report, up about 15 percent year over year. On the flip side, about 25 percent of adult Americans went into 2021 without making a decision, according to the same study.

Given these statistics, at Patch, what is your New Year’s resolution? Do you have the mind to meditate every day? Would you like to travel more? We would like to know more about your hopes for 2022.
