Santa Monica gas prices are stabilizing after continuous increases

SANTA MONICA, CA – Santa Monica gas prices finally stabilized at a record high on Friday after rising steadily for 15 of the last 16 days.

The average price of a gallon of gasoline in Los Angeles County was $ 4.71 on Friday, just like it was on Thursday according to the AAA. This is still a steep increase from just a month ago when the average was $ 4.56.

The stable price was a welcome relief for Santa Monica residents, although it’s still a record high for the district. The previous record was set at USD 4.705 on Wednesday and exceeded again on Thursday.

According to the AAA, the average price of gas for California on Friday was $ 4.71, well above the national average of $ 3.39.

Check the AAA website, which is updated daily, for national average gas prices.
