SANTA MONICA, CA – The Los Angeles County Department of Health extended its warning about seawater use near Santa Monica Pier and Mother’s Beach in Marina del Rey on Friday night.
“The warning was issued because of bacterial levels that exceeded health standards in the last test,” said public health officials.
People are still being told to be careful while playing or swimming in the ocean near Mother’s Beach and Santa Monica Pier.
