Sacramento Kings vs Los Angeles Clippers Game Preview 12/3/2022

The upstart Sacramento Kings head to Los Angeles for a date with the Clippers. It’s an early start between the two California teams with tip-off scheduled to take place at 4pm EST from the Crypto.com Arena.

The Kings have surprised everyone this season and are playing like one of the better teams around the league. They are 11-9 on the season and have won seven of their last ten games overall. It has been quite the year for the Kings and their fans as they look to finally break the long playoff drought.

As for the Clippers, they enter this game with a record of 13-10 and have won six of their last ten games. Despite both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George missing time, the team has still found ways to win games. The coaching staff is regarded as one of the best around the league and for good reason.

How Sacramento can win: The Kings have one of the better offenses in the league and they should look to use that in this matchup. Especially if Kawhi Leonard and Paul George can’t play, Sacramento will have the edge on offense. If they can knock down their open shots and get out into transition, they will have a great shot in this matchup.

De’Aaron Fox is having a great year for them, averaging 24 points and six assists per game. They will need him to come through with another big game to help them get the win.

How Los Angeles can win: If the team can get Kawhi Leonard and Paul George back then great. They have both been upgraded to questionable for this game so it remains to be seen if they play or not. The team would get a major boost on both sides of the ball if they can give it a go.

If not, players such as Norman Powell and Marcus Morris will need to step up for the Clippers. They have shown that they are more than capable of doing so but it’s a matter of going out and executing the gameplan.

Prediction: Los Angeles Clippers 120, Sacramento Kings 110

I think the Clippers handle the Kings today regardless if Leonard and George come back or not. They are the deeper team and will use that to their advantage here.
