We are seeking a Project Architect / Design Professional to take the lead on multiple projects ranging from early childhood education to creative workspace. In this role, you will work directly with the Principal Architect, be the primary client-facing contact and provide leadership and guidance to the project team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and professionalism of the instruments of service and the facilitation of the final architectural product
- Assist Principal Architect with the preparation of project proposals
- Lead the team in the preparation of feasibility studies, including careful assessments of jurisdictional planning requirements
- Provide design solutions in collaboration with the Principal Architect and project team members. Clearly and thoughtfully present design solutions to the client, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Manage consultant teams through all project phases as well as build and nurture relationships with clients
- Resolve complex technical/design issues and detailing and provide guidance and mentorship to team
- Actively participate and contribute to the financial performance of the project and ensure projects conform to contract
- Maintain an awareness of the scope, schedule, budget, and status of all assigned projects
REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
must haves
- 7+ years of post-graduate experience with multiple built projects
- Skilled use of architectural design and documentation software (Experience with ArchiCAD BIM is a major plus, but not a requirement)
- Strong technical documentation skills with keen design sensitivity
- Experience across a variety of projects with a preference for tenant improvements, cultural, and educational
- General knowledge of building code(s) and familiarity with local zoning regulations
- Excellent people management and communications skills
- Experience in producing work on all phases of the project from Concept Design through Construction Observation
- Knowledge of primary engineering disciplines to coordinate their work
