Netflix Drops Clip, Image Of Vampire Film ‘Day Shift’ Horror News Network

Winning an Oscar…cool. Killing vampires…priceless.

Jamie Foxx is headlining Day Shift–a new vampire flick that will debut on Netflix later this year–and the streamer this week released a clip with snippets from its 2022 offerings and a creepy image from the horror film. Check out both–courtesy of movieweb.com–on this page.

In Day Shift, Foxx plays a “hard-working, blue-collar dad” who just wants the best for his little girl. To that end, he toils at a pool-cleaning gig in the San Fernando Valley by day, and hunts and kills vampires as part of an international union of undead hunters by night. Nice to hear they have a union.

Producer Shaun Redick called the film a “pulse-pointing thrill ride with action, danger, grounded comedy and a deep mythology.”

Redick is joined by Chad Stahelski, Jason Spitz and Yvette Yates Redick as producers, with Foxx, Batari Turner and Peter Baxter serving as executive producers.
