Modern-era record 103 teams are entered 01/26/2022

The 107th edition of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup will kick off March 22 with a record number of entrants since 1995.

The 2022 edition marks a return after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The 103 sets a modern-era (1995-present) record with 103 teams. The previous high of 99 was set in 2017. The number of teams from pro leagues is a record 71, topping the record of 52 pro clubs entered in 2019.
