Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm closed due to winter storm – NBC Los Angeles

Amid heavy rain, gusts of wind, flooded roads, fallen trees, and mudslides in Southern California, two local theme parks decided to keep their doors closed.

Six Flags Magic Mountain and Knott’s Berry Farm urged visitors to stay home on Tuesday, citing the strong December storm.

“Today, December 14th, the park is CLOSED due to inclement weather,” Six Flags said on its Magic Mountain website. “All tickets for today are valid until 31.12.21.”

No events were planned for Tuesday in the park calendar.

Knott’s Berry Farm had a similar announcement on its website.

“Due to bad weather, Knott’s Berry Fam is closed today, December 14th,” states its website. “The California Marketplace remains open.”
