Love Wins: Queen Latifah Spotted With Girlfriend at Santa Monica’s Upscale Giorgio Baldi Restaurant

New Jersey rapper and actress Queen Latifah, who has been very private about her love life in the past, was spotted enjoying dinner with her longtime girlfriend Eboni Nichols in the upscale Santa Monica neighborhood over the Christmas holiday, and the two couldn’t look happier to be in each other’s arms.

The duo was first seen at the lavish Giorgio Baldi restaurant sharing a bite with friends before heading out of the restaurant and hopping into an all-Black chauffeured vehicle.

The Queen wore an oversized black coat with touches of green and pink, matching black pants and chunky boots with gold metal accessories. Her long braids were styled in a half-up half-down do and looked fresh wearing no makeup.

Nichols wooed paparazzi with a sparkly dress accessorized with a Gucci belt and neon pink pumps.

Latifah and the California native have reportedly been together for three years, but it wasn’t until last October when they made their first public appearance. The two share a three-year-old named Rebel.

Last year, the UNITY star shouted out her son and girlfriend at the BET Awards where she won the Lifetime Achievement Award. “Eboni, my love. Rebel, my love,” she said during her acceptance speech.

The 52-year-old has been known to be tight-lipped about her personal life but opened up in a 2008 New York Times article stating, “I don’t have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life,” adding that “I don’t feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don’t care if people think I’m gay or not. Assume whatever you want, you do it anyway.”

Rumor has it that Latifah met her girlfriend while she was a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Lakers. They started off as friends and began dating years later. Nichols is currently a sought after choreographer for television & film.
