Long Beach’s Precious Lamb Preschool marks 20th year with capital campaign – Press Telegram

Precious Lamb Preschool, which offers free preschool classes for homeless children, will mark its 20th birthday on Feb. 8 and is launching a 20 for 20 crowdfunding campaign as well.

Starting Tuesday, Feb. 1, people can donate a one-time gift or sign up as a monthly donor at www.preciouslamb.org to participate in the campaign. The goal is to raise $20,000 in $20 increments.

Longtime supporter Tom Cordóva has planned a 100-mile walk from San Diego to Long Beach from Feb. 9 to Feb. 11 to bring attention to Precious Lamb’s birthday and fundraising campaign. The journey will be documented on Instagram at @itiwagi or @preciouslamb_lb.

Precious Lamb, based in downtown Long Beach, offers tuition-free, faith-based early education for children ages 18 months to 5 years old. Visit the website for more information.
