Happiness?

We are fortunate to know when we have it, what it means and, above all, how we can enable other people to have a bright and happy future.

If you want to share some of this forward-looking fortune with some great organizations and at the same time contribute to their great achievements, the Panda Cares Fortune Cookie Tour Truck can help.

Your first step towards that caring connection? Just stop by the Santa Monica Pier on Tuesday August 3rd and Wednesday August 4th for a treat that is sweet in two ways.

The first way the free chocolate coated fortune cookies are cute? Well they are chocolate and they are fortune cookies so you know the confections will deliver on the tasty taste front.

And the second way these give-back goodies are bursting with pure sweetness?

Each cookie includes a suggested donation of $ 1 that will be donated to local Children Miracle Network hospitals and Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

Of course, you are welcome to give more if you want.

This ongoing charity drive is led by the Panda Cares Foundation, which supports Panda Express’s philanthropic, community-building goals.

The foundation has raised over $ 247 million for local communities since 1999. “The organization is committed to serving the communities in which it operates by providing funding and volunteer services to support the health and educational needs of underserved youth,” the organization said.

And to add to the sweetness of the Santa Monica stop-by?

There’s a quartet of chocolate-covered fortune cookies deliciously handed out by the truck, all created for this give-back event.

The truck will be near the oceanic landmark from 3pm to 8pm on both days.
