LA Haunted Hayride Los Angeles Haunted Hayride is back in Griffith Park with his eponymous hay-laden role under the trees. There are other opportunities beyond the hay cart, including three mazes and a scare zone inspired by the fictional town of Midnight Falls. Opening date? It’s September 24th.

RomoloTavani Do you count yourself among Jack Skellington fans, ardent admirers of all things “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas”? Danny Elfman, the singing voice of Jack and creator of the music of the stop-motion classic, will accompany the film on October 29th and 31st with special guests in the Banc of California.

Freeform / Richard Harbaugh Explore a “Halloween Road” when Freeform lands at the Heritage Square Museum for the first five days of October to celebrate its “31 Nights of Halloween”. Both “Hocus Pocus” and the Addams Family will show up in the not-too-scary assignment.

Halloween Horror Nights The Terror Tram is back at Halloween Horror Nights, Michael Myers too, and the Frankenstein bride has her first labyrinth. Are you ready to call Universal Studios Hollywood for this famous Maze Takular that also features several famous monsters and original content? Knott’s Scary Farm Knott’s Scary Farm lit the proverbial lantern on September 16 and lured horror fans to the famous ghost town and the mazes. There are several recurring favorites in 2021, including “The Depths” and “Dark Ride”. And you can bet on it: the themed treats are terrifyingly delicious.

Stefano Carella / EyeEm Haddonfield, the city that was depicted in the 1978 horror classic “Halloween” is mainly located in South Pasadena. And in South Pasadena, just behind the Michael Myers home, the SugarMynt Gallery is hosting an art exhibition dedicated to the John Carpenter-directed film.
