Drivers detained in Sherman Oaks after pursuit

A man wanted for reckless driving was arrested after leading authorities launched a persecution in Sherman Oaks, police said.

According to the Los Angeles police, the chase for the Volkswagen SUV began around 12:19 p.m. in the area of ​​Topanga Canyon and Burbank.

The driver drove into a Hidden Hills community and broke through a gate while the LAPD was already chasing, Lt. Jim Braden of the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

At around 1:00 p.m., police were seen pulling around the suspect’s vehicle, which was stopped in a residential area on the 4800 block of Orion Avenue in Sherman Oaks.

After some time, the man was carried to an ambulance on a stretcher, as Sky5 images showed.
