In an adorable new video shot off the coast of Southern California, about 400 dolphins are putting on a show for whale watchers.
On Sunday morning, the Manute’a catamaran operated by Captain Dave’s Dolphin and Whale Watching Safari had front row seats for dolphin jumping and splashing in the waters off the coast of Dana Point.

“Southern California has the highest dolphin density per square mile in the world,” said Captain Dave’s Safari.
Common dolphins weigh about 170 pounds and are six feet long.
With this tip, whale watchers could also enjoy the unusual sight of a gray whale at the beginning of the season.
