SANTA MONICA, CA – A possible blown transformer caused a loud bang in Santa Monica and Venice on Saturday night, Santa Monica Patch police said.
At around 9:30 pm, people in the Santa Monica and Venice area heard a loud “boom” or explosion sound
Authorities say it was likely a blown transformer.
