LOS ANGELES (AP) – Shoppers were shocked last weekend to see a bear cub rummaging through offerings in a Los Angeles supermarket.
The video, broadcast by CBS 2, shows the little bear strolling the hallways of the Ralphs store in Porter Ranch in the San Fernando Valley on Saturday.
After sniffing around inside, the bear finally walked out the front door.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife found the 120-pound animal hiding under a trailer at a construction site behind a nearby Walmart.
The bear has been calmed and released to the Angeles National Forest, the department said.
