Los Angeles (CBSLA) – A man was shot dead in South Los Angeles and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into Saturday’s shootings.

MPs responded at 1:59 a.m. at the 1700 block on East 81st and Beach Street, where they found the victim, who was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries, said Deputy Grace Medrano of the sheriff’s information office.
The investigation is ongoing, no further information is available at the moment.
