Knife stabbed victim found dead in Paramount – NBC Los Angeles

A knife stab victim was found dead on a Paramount street early Tuesday.

The crime took place on Monday at 11:59 p.m. in the 6800 block of San Carlos Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Details about a motif were not immediately available.

At the scene of the crime, a crime scene tape was attached near a silver Volkswagen Jetta. It was not initially clear whether the car was the subject of the investigation.

MPs who responded to an attack with a fatal gun cry found a man lying on the street. He suffered from an apparent stab wound on the upper body.

The 27-year-old man was pronounced dead at the crime scene in the community about 15 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. His name was not immediately published.

An exact description of the attacker was not initially available.
