North Hollywood man fatally stabbed to death on New Years Day – CBS Los Angeles

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA) – Authorities were referred to the intersection of Vineland Avenue and Sarah Street at 1:35 a.m. on Saturday in response to reports of a knife stab in the area.

Los Angeles Police Operations Center announced that 50-year-old Robert James Mosca was fatally stabbed to death after an altercation. According to the report, Mosca and two of his companions were hit from behind by the suspect during the confrontation. The argument ended fatally when the suspect drew his knife and stabbed Mosca.

He was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

There is no evidence of what led to the dispute. Authorities were still looking for the suspect on Sunday when he fled the scene after the incident.
