Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD) traffic investigators are attempting to identify the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run incident in Santa Monica. At around 12:57 p.m. on October 31, 2021, the vehicle pictured above collided on the zebra crossing at 3rd Street and Wilshire Blvd. with a pedestrian and seriously injured the pedestrian before he escaped.
The vehicle is believed to be a white Infiniti G-series sedan that lacks a front panel and has severely damaged the passenger-side windshield from this collision. SMPD investigators are looking for information that will help identify this vehicle and / or its driver.
