Cracker Barrel opens ghost kitchen in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) – Cracker Barrel is now serving its southern home cooking with the opening of a ghost kitchen in the Hollywood area.

The Ghost Kitchen, a delivery location with no seating, is called Cracker Barrel Kitchen and is the first such restaurant of the Tennessee-based chain on the west coast.

“We’re officially making our Hollywood debut and couldn’t be more excited to bring our home-style cooking to Los Angeles for the first time,” said Jennifer Tate, Cracker Barrel’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

For Hollywood residents, they can now sample the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store’s favorite dishes such as buttermilk pancakes, fried country steak, and hashbrown casserole.

“Whether they’re homesick for West Coast transplants or Los Angeles locals who have never tried our fan-favorite Hashbrown Casserole or Biscuits n ‘Gravy, we look forward to our proven, handcrafted Hollywood recipes -Community, “said Tate.

The Cracker Barrel Kitchen is open for delivery daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Customers can order from DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.

Cracker Barrel says more ghost kitchens will be added in LA County in the coming months.

For Southern Californians looking to eat at a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, there are branches in Rialto, Victorville, and Camarillo.
